Golf Information
Play all of the Hua Hin golf resort and championship courses! The Hua Hin and Cha Am region is located 170 km from Bangkok, on the western side of the Gulf of Thailand, and it is one of the highest quality golfing destinations in Thailand. There are 7 golf courses located with in 20 minutes of the town centre, and another 5 golf courses easily reachable, located in the neighboring provinces.Royal Hua Hin Golf Club was Thailand’s first course and many of its fairways are lined with huge trees and sculptured shrubs in shapes of animals and Thai mythological creatures. A twenty minute drive west is Springfield Village, a Jack Nicklaus course. A few minutes drive is Imperial Lake View with 36 holes, the site of the Asian Tour’s 2007 Thailand Open, and the number 7 ranked course in Thailand. Palm Hills is less than 10 minutes from Hua Hin, making it the closest championship course to town. There is also Majestic Creek and Milford Golf Club further south in between fertile farmlands of pineapples, mango, sugar cane and Aloe Vera. Black Mountain is Thailand’s newest golf course will host a 2008 PGA Tour event. Banyan, still under construction is set to open in late 2008. About 1 hour north to Thailand’s western interior there are a number of parkland golf courses built along rivers, lakes, densely forested jungles, hills and mountains. The River Kwai (Kanchanaburi) and Ratchaburi provinces are home to some pristine and highly praised courses that generally are only know to locals. These can all be reached from Hua Hin and we are glad to make arrangements for those staying in Hua Hin to play at all the Hua Hin area golf courses, as well as these lesser known golf courses.
